Alua Arthur is the founder of Going with Grace, an organization dedicated to redefining what it means to die gracefully. As a death doula, she guides individuals and families through the emotional, legal, and spiritual dimensions of the end of life, while also educating fellow death doulas worldwide on non-medical end-of-life care.
A former lawyer, Arthur is the author of "Briefly Perfectly Human: Making an Authentic Life by Getting Real About the End," and she speaks widely on how facing mortality can deepen our appreciation for life and inspire authentic living.
Arthur has shared her insights as a mainstage speaker at the 2023 TED Conference and as a keynote speaker at EndWell 2019.
