Alicia Keys

Alicia Keys is a 15-time Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter, musician, producer, actress, New York Times best-selling author, film, television, and Broadway producer, entrepreneur, and activist. A classically trained pianist, Keys began composing songs at age 12 and signed her first record deal at 15. After transitioning from Columbia Records to J Records, she released her debut studio album, "Songs in A Minor," which sold more than 12 million copies worldwide and earned five Grammy Awards. Keys is recognized for her multifaceted talent as a singer, songwriter, instrumentalist, arranger, and producer, and for her distinctive style that blends R&B, pop, hip-hop, and soul.

Keys followed her debut with a series of critically acclaimed and commercially successful albums. Her second album, "The Diary of Alicia Keys," sold eight million units globally and produced the top-five singles "You Don't Know My Name" and "If I Ain't Got You," earning four additional Grammy Awards. The album "As I Am" featured the Grammy-winning single "No One." Keys collaborated with Jay-Z on "Empire State of Mind," which reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and won Grammy Awards for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration and Best Rap Song. Keys expanded her artistic portfolio by writing, composing, and producing the musical "Hell's Kitchen" with Kristoffer Diaz. The production premiered at The Public Theater's Newman Theater in New York City and later moved to the Shubert Theatre on Broadway. The musical won a Drama League Award for Outstanding Production of a Musical and received a nomination for the Tony Award for Best Musical. The original cast recording of "Hell's Kitchen" won the Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album. Keys also performed during the Super Bowl LVIII halftime show as a guest of Usher.

Keys received the Dr. Dre Global Impact Award at the Grammy Awards, becoming the first woman to earn this distinction. She was ranked number 10 on Billboard's "Top 100 Women Artists of the 21st Century" and number eight on its list of Top Producers of the 21st Century. As a philanthropist, Keys co-founded Keep a Child Alive, an organization supporting treatment and care for children and families affected by HIV.
