Alexandra Malika Ndolo Biography
Alexandra Malika Ndolo is a German-Kenyan épée fencer who has made a name for herself on the international stage. Born in Bayreuth, Germany, she initially represented Germany in competitions before switching to represent Kenya in 2022, becoming the African nation's first Olympic fencer.
Ndolo's career has been marked by numerous successes, including a silver medal at the 2022 World Fencing Championships, European Championship medals in 2017 (silver) and 2019 (bronze), two African Championship gold medals, and multiple podium finishes in World Cup events. She is known for her strategic precision and resilience on the piste. Her decision to represent Kenya was motivated by a desire to support the growth of fencing in the country and to inspire African athletes in the sport.
Beyond her achievements in fencing, Ndolo is also an advocate for diversity in sports and the empowerment of African athletes. She is the co-founder of the Kenyan Fencing Federation and is in training for the LA 2028 Olympics. Additionally, Ndolo is a published children‘s book author and is working on her next book.
