Adalynn E. Harris

Dr. Adalynn E. Harris is a scientist, educator, and public health advocate with more than 25 years of experience focused on health equity and community engagement. Harris holds a doctorate in biomedical sciences from Morehouse School of Medicine, a Master of Public Health, a Master of Health Administration, and a Bachelor of Science degree. Her academic background includes post-doctoral fellowships at Emory University’s Winship Cancer Institute and Morehouse School of Medicine’s Neuroscience Institute, as well as completion of the Fellowship in Research and Science Teaching program.

Harris has worked across academia, the pharmaceutical industry, and public health, with experience at organizations such as Merck, ImmunityBio, the American Parkinson Disease Association, and Morehouse School of Medicine. As CEO and president of Equity Bridge Consulting, she applies her multidisciplinary expertise to promote health equity for historically underrepresented communities. The firm provides scientific support and strategic guidance to increase the inclusion of minority, underrepresented, and disenfranchised groups in clinical trials and public health policy. Harris has co-authored research articles and delivered presentations on emerging therapies, health disparities, and scientific research, engaging stakeholders including principal investigators, advisory boards, physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and peers in the pharmaceutical industry.

Harris is a public speaker who draws on her medical, scientific, and public health policy knowledge, as well as personal experience, to inform and engage audiences. Her lectures are designed for healthcare professionals, faith-based organizations, community groups, and youth audiences, with a focus on advancing medical knowledge and practices for minority communities in the United States, sub-Saharan Africa, and the African diaspora. Harris’s presentations aim to make complex scientific information accessible and to encourage action toward reducing health inequities.
