Aaliyah Strong

Aaliyah Strong-Bailey is a motivational speaker, author and the founder and executive director of Tyme to Thrive Beyond Grief, a nationally recognized, survivor-led nonprofit serving families impacted by violence and traumatic loss. Strong-Bailey is the author of the book "This Kind of Strong Has Scars" and serves as a grief coach.

After the tragic murder of Strong-Bailey's fiancé in 2022, Strong-Bailey transformed personal grief into purpose, building an organization that has supported more than 650 families across Metro Atlanta. She is the youngest founder and director in the state of Georgia.

As a speaker, Strong-Bailey is known for raw storytelling, practical insight and the ability to connect deeply with diverse audiences. Her areas of expertise include grief and trauma recovery, community violence intervention, mental health advocacy and resilience building. Strong-Bailey has been recognized by the White House, honored with proclamations from the City of Atlanta and featured by the We Are Family Foundation's Frontline Leaders initiative. Her work and voice have been highlighted through national and community platforms, including gun violence prevention campaigns, youth advocacy initiatives and collaborative panels with organizations, such as Everytown for Gun Safety and local public health coalitions. Strong-Bailey has served as a returning speaker at the Restoration and Representation Summit and has led trainings, workshops and keynote sessions for schools, nonprofits and leadership spaces, equipping audiences with tools to support healing, restore hope and drive meaningful change.
