A.J. Brown

A.J. Brown is a wide receiver in the National Football League known for his combination of size, speed, and route-running ability. Brown played college football for the Ole Miss Rebels, earning first-team All-SEC honors twice before being selected by the Tennessee Titans in the second round of the NFL Draft. At Ole Miss, Brown set school records with 75 receptions for 1,252 yards and 11 touchdowns in a single season and received the Conerly Trophy, awarded to the top college football player in Mississippi.

Brown quickly established himself in the NFL, finishing his second professional season with 70 receptions for 1,075 yards and 11 touchdowns, earning his first Pro Bowl selection. After three seasons with the Titans, he was traded to the Philadelphia Eagles. In Philadelphia, Brown posted the two highest single-season receiving yard totals in franchise history—1,496 yards in one season and 1,456 in another. He also set the franchise record for most receptions by a wide receiver in a single season with 106 catches and led the NFL in 50-plus yard catches since his rookie year. Brown contributed to the Eagles' Super Bowl LIX championship.

Throughout his career, Brown has been recognized as a three-time Pro Bowl and three-time second-team All-Pro selection. He has accumulated 524 receptions for 8,029 yards and 56 touchdowns across 105 regular season games. Brown has recorded 1,000 receiving yards in six of his seven NFL seasons, and his 34 100-yard games rank among the league's best since his debut. Including the playoffs, Brown is one of only seven players in NFL history with at least 8,500 receiving yards and 60 touchdown catches in his first seven seasons.

The Eagles traded Brown to the New England Patriots for a first-round draft pick in 2028 and a 2027 fifth-round pick. The move reunites Brown with Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel, under whom Brown played with the Titans. Brown, who turns 29 in June, joins a revamped Patriots receiver group and provides quarterback Drake Maye with a primary target. His ability to break tackles and generate yards after the catch addresses a key need for the Patriots offense and reflects New England's focus on building a strong offense around their young quarterback. Brown's track record and presence make him a significant figure in the AFC.
