Her thesis film debuted at the 2004 Cannes Film Festival, won top honors at the Austin Film Festival and earned her the "Director of the Year" award from AFI.

Now developing her first feature film, Alexandra is currently in the editing room working on her documentary about the 2004 Presidential Election. Shot from her unique insider's perspective as the daughter of Presidential candidate Senator John Kerry, the independently financed documentary will be released in 2005.
