Bill Pulte Biography
William J. (Bill) Pulte is the CEO of Pulte Industries, a holding company of various manufacturing and services companies across the United States. Mr. Pulte serves on the Board of Directors of Carstin Brands LLC, a portfolio company of Pulte Capital. Mr. Pulte also manages Advanced Air & Heat LLC, a Pulte Capital Partners portfolio company and one of the largest air conditioning businesses in northern Florida. Mr. Pulte also serves on the board of Olon Group Inc, one of the largest North American wood component manufacturers based in Canada. Prior to starting Pulte Capital Partners, Mr. Pulte worked as an investment professional at two middle market private equity firms. Mr. Pulte has been recognized by Forbes Magazine as one of their “Forbes 30 Under 30” awardees, and he was also named “Michiganian of the Year” by the Detroit News for his leadership in Detroit’s recovery, before and after Detroit’s bankruptcy. In a private-public partnership with Mayor Dave Bing of Detroit, Mr. Pulte founded and serves as Chairman of the Detroit Blight Authority, a Michigan non-profit corporation focused on neighborhood stabilization through mass trash and debris clearing within Detroit’s 135 square miles. He is a graduate of Northwestern University.
