. He's a GRAMMY award winning country singer, as part of the record breaking trio, The Gatlin Brothers, whose signature song All the Gold in California demonstrates harmonies that only families can produce. Steve also received a Dove award nomination for his solo Christian-Country CD, Love Can Carry. His long list of television and stage appearances is nothing short of impressive. So it seems unlikely someone with so much success would spend years wallowing in depression. Steve's message is a universal one: no matter how great or small our station in life, we all must deal with very human problems. Steve believes its okay to tell the world you're "not okay." But it's up to us to seek healing and to get better.

When the Gatlin Brothers decided to stop touring as a country music act in 1998, Steve's life was instantly and dramatically changed. An overwhelming sense of hopelessness and despair soon set in, and he was eventually diagnosed with clinical depression.
