Zeke Thomas

Joshua Zeke Thomas is a DJ, MC, and host, a human rights and mental health awareness advocate, and a businessman. Thomas has built a multifaceted career in the music and entertainment industry, performing for high-profile audiences and collaborating with artists such as Diana Ross, Jay-Z, Lady Gaga, Snoop Dogg, Ludacris, Michelle Obama, and Cher. He has served as an official NBA All-Star DJ and performed alongside Shaquille O’Neal, also known as DJ Diesel. His work has been broadcast on Good Morning America, Arise360 TV, Sirius XM, and featured on VH1, where he produced for Lala’s Full Court Life cast member Po Johnson.

In addition to his DJ career, Thomas has produced original music, including the single “REGRET” and the club track “#ByeFelicia.” His catalog also features personal and socially conscious tracks such as “BLACKNESS” featuring Chuck D and Jasiri X, which PAPER Magazine described as a civil rights anthem for the EDM generation, as well as “Dealin’ With It” and “Love Me Sober.”

Thomas has publicly shared his experience as a rape survivor and has become an advocate for sexual assault awareness and mental health. He appeared on Good Morning America to discuss his experience and has since worked with the National Sexual Violence Resource Center as its first male spokesman, participating in a national PSA and supporting the ME TOO Movement. Thomas has contributed to policy discussions around Title IX at historically Black colleges and universities and has spoken at events including the NEXUS Global Youth Summit. He has also participated in the SUNY Got Your Back program, supporting survivors of sexual violence on college campuses, and has DJed the Vice President Joe Biden Courage Awards presented by Its On Us.

His advocacy work has been recognized by organizations such as GLAAD, The Queerties, NYC Pride, and The Ruth Ellis Center. Thomas has been nominated for a GLAAD Media Award for Outstanding TV Journalism Segment and The Queerties Rebel With A Cause award. He has also been honored at NYC Pride as a Community Leader and received the Youth Impact Award from The Ruth Ellis Center.

Thomas has hosted programs on Fuse TV and MTV’s Catfish and has partnered with organizations including ACLU, The Ally Coalition, GLAAD, The Jed Foundation, and the NoH8 Campaign. His business experience includes serving as co-founder and vice president of marketing at crowdMGMT, consulting for organizations such as the New York Knicks, New York Liberty, Ciroc, Hot97, and The United Nations, and working as chief marketing officer and partner at ISIAH International. At ISIAH International, he contributed to the acquisition of Cheurlin Champagne and VESL OILS.

Thomas continues to pursue his interests in music, advocacy, and business, focusing on creating positive change and supporting mental health and human rights initiatives.
