Yoseph Haddad

Yoseph Haddad is a defender of Israel. His journey started with serving in the Israel Defense Forces and now, he is the CEO of Together – Vouch For Each Other, an organization he founded in 2018 to bridge the gap between the Arab sector of Israeli society and Israeli society as a whole. Born in Haifa and raised in Nazareth from age 3, Haddad is an Israeli Arab. His drive to defend Israel comes as a surprise to many, given his background.

At the age of 18, Haddad volunteered for the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), serving in the Golani Brigade. During the Second Lebanon War in 2006, he was severely injured in a battle in Bint J'bil. A Kornet missile shot by Hezbollah severed his leg and caused extensive injuries to his body and face. Haddad underwent a long rehabilitation process, and his leg was successfully reattached. He even regained the ability to play soccer. This life-changing experience solidified his resolve to advocate for the State of Israel abroad, combat BDS, and work on improving relations between Arabs and Jews in Israeli society. Now, he is an internationally recognized lecturer, speaking to an array of communities, groups, and students.

Together – Vouch for Each Other has seen significant growth since its inception, amassing hundreds of volunteers and thousands of supporters on social media under Haddad's leadership. Beyond heading his organization, Haddad has been proactive in his advocacy work, contributing columns to Israel Hayom and TheMarker, broadcasting on i24NEWS channel in Arabic and English since 2021, and actively speaking against new forms of antisemitism. His advocacy videos in multiple languages have elevated him to the status of a social media influencer.

Haddad's dedication to his cause has earned him significant recognition. He has been named as one of the Top 50 Most Influential pro-Israel voices online by Social Lite Creative, one of the Top 40 Digital Influencers for Israel by JNS, and one of the "2021 Top 50 Pro-Israelis". In 2022, he was awarded the Begin Prize for his contributions, and in 2021, he received the "Light of Israel" prize from the Israeli Foreign Ministry. His efforts were further acknowledged in 2024 when he received an honorary degree from Ariel University for his work in combating anti-Semitism and fostering unity.

In response to the 2023 Gaza war, Haddad launched an extensive information campaign supporting Israel against Hamas and Islamic Jihad, for which he was recognized as a "Heroes of the Home Front" by the council Zionism in Israel. In addition to his advocacy work, he has initiated significant social activities to integrate Arab-Israeli citizens into Israeli society, including the first living room memorial event in Arab-Israeli society and the first Holocaust Remembrance Day ceremony in an Arab state.

With his diverse roles in advocacy, education, and societal integration, Haddad continues to contribute significantly to discussions at the UN Human Rights Council, international forums, and the Knesset committee, focusing on issues related to Arab society and combating BDS.
