Winter Vinecki

Winter Vinecki, a multi-faceted athlete, has carved a unique path in the world of sports. A marathon runner, triathlete, and aerial skier, Vinecki's achievements testify to her resilience and determination. By November 2013, she had completed a marathon on all seven continents, making her the youngest person at that time to achieve such a feat. Demonstrating her prowess as a runner, she won the women's overall title and set the women's course record at the Andes Adventures Inca Trail Marathon to Machu Picchu in Peru.

Vinecki's talents extend beyond marathon running. She was the national IronKids triathlon champion in 2010 and 2011, showing her versatility as an athlete. After meeting Emily Cook in 2011, she embarked on a new journey in aerial skiing and moved to Park City, Utah, to train. Within three years, she made significant strides in her new discipline and was named part of the U.S. Freestyle Junior Worlds Team in March 2014. Soon after, Vinecki achieved a notable fifth place in ladies' aerials at the 2014 FIS Junior World Ski Championships.

Beyond her athletic achievements, Vinecki has also made a significant impact through her nonprofit organization, Team Winter. Inspired by her father's battle with prostate cancer, the organization raises funds for research into the disease. Her commitment to this cause earned her the ANNIKA Inspiration Award in 2011. In recognition of her accomplishments both on and off the field, she received the Athletes in Excellence Award from The Foundation for Global Sports Development in August 2017. She continued to shine in her sporting career, winning the women's aerials ski competition at the Lac-Beauport FIS World Cup in both 2024 and 2026.
