Will Brackett

Will Brackett is a business development and partnerships executive with experience at leading companies in technology and finance. Brackett holds a Bachelor of Arts in economics and Chinese studies from Drew University and has developed expertise in strategic alliances across financial services, technology, and media. His background includes roles in investment banking, consumer technology, and fintech, providing a cross-disciplinary perspective on the intersection of markets and digital platforms.

Brackett began his career on Wall Street, working in global emerging markets and equity derivatives at JPMorgan Chase. He later joined Apple’s Strategic Deals Team, where he led strategic partnerships, technology development, and intellectual property licensing to support new product initiatives. After Apple, Brackett served as head of growth at Cue, a productivity startup acquired by Reddit. At Reddit, he co-founded the company’s data licensing business and led Web3 business development, establishing partnerships with organizations such as Intercontinental Exchange and OpenAI. These efforts contributed to positioning Reddit’s data as a commercial asset in the artificial intelligence sector.

Brackett went on to join Kalshi as head of partnerships, applying his deal-making experience to the prediction markets and event contracts industry. Kalshi, founded by Tarek Mansour and Luana Lopes Lara, is the first CFTC-regulated exchange dedicated to trading directly on the outcomes of future events, allowing investors to take positions on event contracts. In this role, Brackett expanded Kalshi’s reach across industries, including a partnership with Rotten Tomatoes to feature Kalshi’s real-time prediction market data ahead of the 98th Academy Awards, introducing prediction market forecasting to entertainment audiences.

Brackett has also become a public voice for the prediction markets industry. He appeared on Bloomberg to discuss insider trading concerns and Kalshi’s efforts to address fraud on its platform. He participated as a panelist at NAB on the panel "Trading on Story: Prediction Markets, Platforms and the Power of Fandom," where he discussed how regulated prediction markets operate as transparent, peer-to-peer financial exchanges rather than traditional gambling platforms. Brackett’s ability to clarify the distinction between speculative engagement and regulated market participation has positioned him as a spokesperson as the industry faces regulatory scrutiny and broader adoption.
