Whitmer Thomas

Whitmer Thomas is a comedian, actor, and musician recognized for his contribution to the LA-based comedy troupe, Power Violence. His voice acting skills were showcased in the FXX animated comedy "Stone Quackers" from 2014 to 2015. However, it was his hour-long comedy special, "The Golden One," that gained widespread attention when it premiered on HBO on February 22, 2020. Alongside this special, an album titled "Songs from The Golden One" was released via Hardly Art Records, earning a 100% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes and a 7.7/10 rating from Pitchfork.

Following the success of his debut special, Thomas released his sophomore record, "The Older I Get The Funnier I Was," on October 21, 2022. In addition to his music and stand-up comedy career, Thomas has made appearances in popular television series such as "GLOW", "The Walking Dead", and "The Good Place." He also played a significant supporting role in the film "Sword of Trust." His participation in international comedy festivals, such as Sketchfest, and the New York and Melbourne International Comedy Festivals, further highlight his versatility in the humor industry. In 2016, he had an opportunity to open for Bo Burnham on the "Make Happy" tour, broadening his exposure to a wider audience.

In 2022, Thomas released an EP titled "Can't Believe You're Happy Here," featuring the music video for "Don't Have A Cow." Along with his second album, "The Older I Get The Funnier I Was," he toured North America with Al Menne. Demonstrating his continuous creative evolution, Thomas performed a new stand-up routine, "Big Baby," at the Elysian Theater in Los Angeles throughout the final quarter of 2022. His acting portfolio includes substantial roles in films such as "Am I OK?" and "The Civil Dead," and he appeared in the 2023 television series "Slip" and "#1 Happy Family USA." Thomas was also featured in the horror film "Weapons."
