Tyrus

George Murdoch, known professionally as Tyrus, is the host of "Maintaining with Tyrus" on OutKick, a Fox-owned streaming platform. Murdoch serves as a Fox News contributor and is a New York Times best-selling author. He joined Fox News in 2016 and appears regularly on Fox News Channel programs including "Gutfeld!," "Outnumbered," "Fox & Friends," "The Five," and "America’s Newsroom." Murdoch's background in sports and media includes experience as a college football player, professional wrestler, actor, and entertainer.

Murdoch's early life included time in foster homes before he began working in security, notably for Snoop Dogg. He launched his professional wrestling career in WWE's developmental territories, later joining the main roster as Brodus Clay and becoming known for his Funkasaurus persona. After leaving WWE, Murdoch competed as Tyrus in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA/Impact Wrestling) and later joined the National Wrestling Alliance, where he won both the NWA World Television Championship and the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship before retiring from wrestling.

Murdoch is the author of the autobiography "Just Tyrus: A Memoir," which became a New York Times bestseller. His second book, "Nuff Said," further explores his experiences in professional wrestling, television, and media commentary.
