Tyler Denk

Tyler Denk is the co-founder and CEO of beehiiv, a creator-focused newsletter and audience-building platform that helps writers, publishers, and brands grow, monetize, and own their audiences. Founded in 2021, beehiiv has quickly emerged as a leading tool in the creator economy, supporting tens of thousands of creators and media companies with publishing, growth, and advertising solutions.

Prior to launching beehiiv, Denk was an early product leader at Morning Brew, where he was the company’s second employee and helped build the product and growth infrastructure that scaled the newsletter to millions of subscribers before its acquisition. He also previously held product roles at Google, working on initiatives including YouTube Music, and founded VentureStorm, a platform designed to connect startups with software engineering talent.

Denk earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland, where he developed his passion for building products and solving complex technical challenges. His engineering background and product expertise continue to shape beehiiv’s mission to provide creators with powerful tools while allowing them to maintain ownership of their audience relationships and revenue streams.

In addition to leading beehiiv, Denk remains active in the creator community, regularly publishing his own content and engaging directly with users to help guide the platform’s evolution and innovation.
