Tyler Cohen Wood

Tyler Cohen Wood is a cybersecurity authority, national security expert, and keynote speaker with a career spanning more than two decades in government and the private sector. With over 20 years of experience, including 13 years at the U.S. Department of Defense, Wood has held roles such as Senior Intelligence Officer, Deputy Cyber Division Chief of the Special Communications Division, and Cyber Subject Matter Expert for the Defense Intelligence Agency Science and Technologies Directorate. At the Defense Intelligence Agency, she developed technical cyber solutions, cybersecurity awareness training, and contributed to the development and interpretation of critical cyber initiatives and directives impacting Department of Defense and intelligence community programs.

Wood has led interagency working groups and task forces to develop and assess advanced technical capabilities and cybersecurity training used by U.S. Special Forces and the intelligence community for special operations and missions. She has collaborated with the White House, Department of Defense, federal law enforcement, and the intelligence community to address cybersecurity threats to the United States. In the private sector, Wood served as Director of Cyber Risk Management at AT&T and held positions with General Dynamics, IBM, and NASA, focusing on protecting intellectual property and global clients from cyber threats. She also served as Executive Director for CyberVista, where she developed cybersecurity solutions to address the evolving threat landscape.

Wood is the co-founder of Dark Cryptonite, a startup developing U.S. patent-pending technology designed to enhance data security for governments and businesses using blockchain algorithms and zero trust models. She is also the founder and CEO of My Connected Health Inc., a global healthcare platform integrating technology, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and secure patient data to support disease diagnosis and treatment. Wood serves on advisory boards including the Global Cybersecurity Association and the EC-Council Incident Handlers global board.

She is the author of "Catching the Catfishers: Disarm the Online Pretenders, Predators, and Perpetrators Who Are Out to Ruin Your Life," which provides guidance on online safety for individuals, families, and businesses. As a three-time author, Wood is recognized for her expertise in cyber threats, cyber warfare, and national security. Her insights have been featured on Good Morning America, FOX and Friends, CBS Evening News, ABC World News Tonight, Bloomberg, CNN, and in The Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, and Huffington Post.
