Tye Sheridan

Tye Sheridan first emerged on the cinematic landscape with his debut in "The Tree of Life" and his first leading role in "Mud". His performances caught the attention of audiences and critics alike, as evidenced by his receipt of the Washington D.C. Area Film Critics Association Award for Best Youth Performance and the Independent Spirit Robert Altman Award, both for "Mud". Sheridan's career trajectory continued its upward trend with his portrayal of a young Scott Summers / Cyclops in the X-Men film series, showcasing his ability to handle blockbuster roles.

Sheridan's star continued to rise with his role in "Joe," for which he was awarded the prestigious Marcello Mastroianni Award for best upcoming young actor at the 70th Venice International Film Festival. In addition to his acting repertoire, Sheridan demonstrated his versatility by taking on a producer role, notably in "The Night Clerk" and "Asphalt City". His performance in "Friday's Child" earned him the coveted Golden Goblet Award for Best Actor at the Shanghai International Film Festival in 2018.

In recent years, Sheridan has continued to expand his horizons, co-founding the AI production tools company Wonder Dynamics, which was acquired by Autodesk in 2024. He has also continued to take on challenging roles, starring in "The Card Counter" and "The Tender Bar" in 2021 and joining the cast of "The Order" in 2024.
