Troy Polamalu

Troy Polamalu is a former American football player of Samoan descent who spent his entire 12-year NFL career with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played college football at the University of Southern California, earning consensus All-American honors and finishing his career with 278 tackles, 29 tackles for loss, six interceptions, four blocked punts and three touchdowns. Polamalu was selected by the Steelers in the first round of the 2003 NFL Draft and became a cornerstone of their defense, helping lead the team to two Super Bowl victories in Super Bowl XL and Super Bowl XLIII.

Known for his versatility and instinctive play, Polamalu tied the NFL record for most sacks by a safety in a single game in 2005 and earned multiple Pro Bowl and All-Pro selections, including AP Defensive Player of the Year in 2010. He finished his career with 770 tackles, 32 interceptions and three touchdowns and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2020.

Since retiring in 2015, Polamalu has remained active in football and business. He serves as an Ambassador for the Pittsburgh Steelers, is an investor in Arenda Capital Management, and continues to make public appearances. Polamalu has also lent his voice to the animated film “Moana” and partnered with brands including Head & Shoulders and Suave.
