Trey Parker

Trey Parker is globally recognized for his co-creation of the animated television series "South Park" and the stage musical "The Book of Mormon" alongside Matt Stone. His work on "South Park" has earned him five Primetime Emmy Awards. Besides, he has been acknowledged with four Tony Awards and a Grammy Award for "The Book of Mormon". His contribution to the film industry is also significant, with an Academy Award nomination for the song "Blame Canada" from the "South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut" movie. Parker also showcased his versatility by writing, producing, directing, and starring in the satirical action film "Team America: World Police".

Parker's animation skills were first recognized in his college film "American History," which won a Student Academy Award. He later wrote, directed, and co-produced "Cannibal! The Musical," which became a cult classic and was adapted into a stage play. His early struggles in Hollywood, including unsuccessful pitches and financial hardships, did not deter him. Instead, the viral success of their early short film, "The Spirit of Christmas," led to the development of "South Park". His work on the video game "South Park: The Stick of Truth" earned him the 2014 Writing In A Comedy award and the Performance in a Comedy, Supporting award by the National Academy of Video Game Trade Reviewers (NAVGTR). Parker and Stone formed the AI startup, Deep Voodoo, out of their entertainment company, Park County, where they develop deepfake technology, visual effects services, and synthetic media projects.
