Tracy Martin Biography
Tracy Martin is the author of the novel, "Skin Deep" (2010 New Century Publishing). She works as a personal life coach and lectures for women's groups on issues of self-esteem, self-acceptance and creating healthy relationships.
The novel, "Skin Deep," follows 18-year-old Leah her venture into the world of exhibitionism. Drawn by easy cash and a desire to be admired, Leah secretly abandons her middle-class morals to embrace the dark milieu of the exotic nightclub, but falling in love with Tessa, one of the other strippers, was not what Leah had planned, and keeping her secret identity and deeper desires from her new boyfriend and family proves to be more than she can handle. "Skin Deep" is a story about choices, a story about becoming, a story about where love begins.
Tracy teaches writing courses at IUPUI and works as a freelance writer for media, as well as corporate and non-profit organizations/
She is a graduate of Purdue University's Creative Writing Program, Master of Fine Arts in Fiction. She also holds a Bachelor's in English from Indiana University.
