Tony Kanaan

Tony Kanaan, a Brazilian race driver, is widely regarded as one of the most successful drivers in IndyCar Series History, including 2004 IndyCar Champion and 2013 Indy 500 Winner.

Kanaan is the only driver to lead the Indianapolis 500 in each of his first seven starts and won his first race on his 12th attempt. He also remains the all-time series record holder with 318 consecutive starts made through Portland in 2001 and the first race of the 2020 season at Texas. Kanaan has a total of 17 career race wins and 15 pole positions in the IndyCar Series.

In May 2023, TK raced in his final Indy 500 after 22 years and a total of 25 seasons in IndyCar. The following year, Kanaan took on the role of Team Principal for Arrow McLaren's NTT Indycar Series team. Kanaan's transition from a celebrated driving career to a leadership position within the team marks a significant milestone in his professional journey.

Kanaan has been a fan favorite in the series for decades and always has maintained one of the largest following on social media in the series. Outside of racing, Kanaan enjoys traveling, spending time at home with his wife, Lauren, and their four children, and he is a dedicated runner and cyclist who has competed in several triathlon, half-Ironman and Ironman competitions, finishing the most recently 2022 Ironman under his previous time. Kanaan also spends time supporting underprivileged children in his native Brazil.
