Tony Elliott

Tony Elliott embarked on his position as head coach at the University of Virginia in 2022. Prior to this, his coaching journey led him through various roles at South Carolina State, Furman, and Clemson. His coaching achievements are underscored by the Broyles Award he received in 2017, acknowledging him as the top assistant coach in college football. His tenure at Virginia marked steady progress in the team's performance, transforming a 3-7 record in his first year to a 9-2 record by 2025.

While serving as an offensive coordinator at Clemson, Elliott made significant contributions to the team's success. His strategic prowess and innovative offensive play-calling were instrumental in Clemson's triumphs in the College Football Playoff national championships of 2016 and 2018. A pivotal aspect of his role was the recruitment and coaching of Travis Etienne, who later became the ACC's all-time leader in yards and touchdowns.
