Tone Bell Biography
Michael Anthony Bell II, known professionally as Tone Bell, is a comedian, actor, and writer. He is known for "Survival of the Thickest."
Bell began his career performing in Dallas comedy clubs before relocating to Los Angeles to further pursue opportunities in stand-up comedy and acting. After moving to Los Angeles, Bell won the Stand-up NBC Diversity talent search and signed a development deal with the network.
Bell appeared on "People Are Talking," opposite of Mark-Paul Gosselaar as his neighbor and best friend. He gained recognition for his role as RJ the bartender in the NBC sitcom "Whitney." Bell also hosted MTV’s hidden camera show "Jerks with Cameras" and has made television appearances on E!’s "Chelsea Lately," Comedy Central’s "Key and Peele," and GSN’s "Mind of a Man." He starred as Tedward the bailiff in the NBC sitcom "Bad Judge."
Bell has appeared as a performer and guest on talk shows including CBS’ "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" and NBC’s "Last Call with Carson Daly." In addition to his work in television and stand-up, Bell is a writer. He remains active in the stand-up comedy circuit, performing at venues across the country.
