Tom Finegan

Tom Finegan is the chairman, chief executive officer, and co-founder of Clarkston Consulting, a management, operations, and implementation consulting firm. With more than 30 years of experience in consulting, Finegan has worked with global companies, developing expertise in business strategy, leadership, and business growth. He serves as an adviser for life sciences, retail, and consumer products companies. Finegan holds a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Johns Hopkins University.

Since co-founding Clarkston Consulting, Finegan has defined the firm's vision, emphasizing measurable business results for clients and a rewarding environment for professionals. Under his leadership, Clarkston has achieved an industry-leading net promoter score and high client satisfaction ratings. Beyond Clarkston Consulting, Finegan founded the software company FoodLogiQ, now part of Trustwell, and served as chairman at Sparq, a provider of outsourced digital engineering services.

Finegan has been named a finalist in Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur of the Year, recognized as a 40 Under 40 Leader, and is a three-time Inc. 500 recipient. He was featured by The Consulting Report as part of their annual Top 50 Consulting Firm CEOs list. Finegan has served as a board member for the National Association of Corporate Directors Research Triangle Chapter and as a past executive member of the board for the Council for Entrepreneurial Development.

Finegan is the author of the Wall Street Journal bestselling book, "Amplifiers." In "Amplifiers," he presents a new perspective on human behavior in corporate transformations, demonstrating how to deliver strategic and transformative change by integrating leadership and followership. All proceeds from the sale of "Amplifiers" are donated to I'm Not Done Yet, a nonprofit established in memory of Bobby Menges. Finegan is a keynote speaker on topics including business leadership, consulting, entrepreneurship, and teambuilding, sharing practical insights with audiences across industries.
