Todd Golden Biography
Todd Golden is currently the head coach of the Florida Gators men's basketball team. His coaching acumen was demonstrated during the 2024-2025 season, when he led the Gators to a phenomenal 36-4 record, culminating in an NCAA Division I national championship victory. Notably, Golden holds a career coaching record of 133 wins and 69 losses, underscoring a strong track record in leading successful teams.
Prior to his engagement with the Florida Gators, Golden held the position of head coach for the San Francisco Dons. During his tenure from 2019 to 2022, he was instrumental in guiding the team to their first NCAA tournament appearance since 1998. This achievement further emphasizes his ability to drive teams to high levels of performance and success. In 2025, Golden added another feather to his cap by securing victory in the SEC tournament.
Before transitioning into coaching, Golden played professional basketball for Maccabi Haifa in the Israeli Basketball Premier League from 2008 to 2010.
