Todd Buchholz

Todd Buchholz is an economist, author, inventor, and business consultant whose career spans government, finance, and academia. Buchholz served as director of economic policy under President George H.W. Bush and as managing director of Tiger Management. Before joining Tiger Management, he was president of G7 Group, an international consulting firm with clients including major securities firms, investment banks, and money managers in New York, London, and Tokyo, such as Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley. Buchholz holds advanced degrees in economics and law from Harvard and Cambridge, was a fellow at Cambridge, and received the Allyn Young Teaching Prize at Harvard.

Buchholz has written several books on economics and leadership, which have been translated into multiple languages and are used in universities worldwide, including NYU, Duke, and Princeton. His book "New Ideas from Dead Economists" has been recognized by the American Economics Association and is included on recommended reading lists at institutions such as Goldman Sachs and Harvard. Buchholz's work extends into the entertainment industry, where he co-produced the Broadway musical "Jersey Boys" and co-authored the musical "Glory Ride," which tells the story of Italians rescuing children from Fascist Italy. His mystery novel "The Castro Gene" received a USA Best Books prize. As an educator and inventor, he created the Math Arrow, which has been recognized for its innovation in mathematics education.

As a commentator on markets and economic policy, Buchholz draws on his experience as a White House economic policy director, hedge fund managing director, and Harvard economics instructor.
