Tobias Meyer

Dr. Tobias Meyer is the Chief Executive Officer of DHL Group, one of the world’s largest logistics and supply chain companies headquartered in Germany.

He became CEO in May 2023, after previously serving in multiple senior leadership roles across the organization, including responsibility for divisions such as Post & Parcel Germany and Global Business Services. He has been part of DHL’s Board of Management since 2019 and has spent much of his executive career inside the company, helping shape its operational and digital transformation.

Before joining DHL, Meyer worked at McKinsey & Company, where he specialized in transportation, logistics, and industrial strategy. He later joined DHL in 2013 and steadily moved through roles in corporate development, operations, and division leadership, giving him broad experience across the company’s global network.

As CEO, he is responsible for overseeing DHL Group’s global strategy, which includes express delivery, freight forwarding, e-commerce logistics, and supply chain services. His leadership has focused on strengthening efficiency, expanding international growth, and advancing sustainability and digital transformation initiatives across the company.

Meyer is an engineer by training, holding advanced degrees in industrial engineering and mechanical engineering, and is widely regarded as a “homegrown” leader who rose through DHL’s internal executive ranks.
