Tim Daly

Tim Daly is an actor, producer, and director with a career spanning more than four decades in television, film, theater, and voice acting. Daly, who comes from an acting family and has a background in stage performance, gained national recognition as one of the stars of the NBC sitcom "Wings," where he portrayed Joe Hackett. Before his work on "Wings," Daly starred in Barry Levinson's directorial debut, "Diner." On Broadway, Daly earned a Theatre World Award for his performance in "Coastal Disturbances" and a Drama Logue Award for "Colorado Catechism." His additional stage credits include "The Caine Mutiny Court-Martial," "The Glass Menagerie," and "Six Degrees of Separation."

Following "Wings," Daly appeared in several television projects, including "In the Line of Duty: Ambush in Waco" and "Witness to the Execution" on NBC, as well as the HBO miniseries "From the Earth to the Moon," where he played astronaut Jim Lovell. Daly is also known for his voice work as Superman and Clark Kent in "Superman: The Animated Series." On HBO's "The Sopranos," Daly played J.T. Dolan, earning an Emmy Award nomination. He also portrayed Henry McCord on the CBS drama "Madam Secretary." His contributions to voice acting include recognition from Behind the Voice Actors Awards for "Justice League: Doom." In 2026, it was announced that he would co-star in the NBC comedy series "Newlyweds."

As a producer, Daly's credits include "Edge of America," which received a Peabody Award and a Humanitas Prize, "Poliwood," directed by Barry Levinson, and "Low Down."
