Tichina Arnold

Tichina Arnold is an American actress, comedian, and singer known for her work in television, film, and music. Arnold began her acting career at age 14 with a minor role in the TV movie "The Brass Ring," and made her film debut at 16 as one of the chorus girls in "Little Shop of Horrors" alongside Tisha Campbell. She appeared on the soap operas "Ryan's Hope" and "All My Children," steadily building her experience in the entertainment industry.

Arnold gained national recognition for her role as Pam James on the Fox sitcom "Martin" with Martin Lawrence. Her portrayal of Pam earned her the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series, establishing her as a prominent figure in sitcom television. Following "Martin," Arnold appeared in films such as "Big Momma's House" and the HBO film "Dancing in September."

She starred as Rochelle on the sitcom "Everybody Hates Chris," based on comedian Chris Rock's childhood, and received the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series for her performance. Arnold's television credits also include roles as Nicole Barnes on "One on One," Judi Mann on "Happily Divorced," Cassie Calloway on "Survivor's Remorse," and Tina Butler on "The Neighborhood." She reprised her role as Rochelle in the animated series "Everybody Still Hates Chris."

In addition to acting, Arnold is a director and producer. She has expanded her work in television production and has celebrated a long-standing relationship with CBS Studios. She received a nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series at the NAACP Image Awards for her role in "The Neighborhood."

Arnold is also recognized for her contributions to music, having released the album "Soul Free" and performed the duet "Moving Up," which charted on Billboard Club Play. She co-founded the We Win Foundation with her sister Zenay Arnold to support individuals and families affected by lupus and related autoimmune diseases. Arnold is an advocate for mental health and women's health and serves on the National Parent Association advisory board. She has been honored by organizations such as The Black Women Film Network and the McDonald's 365Black Awards. With a career spanning more than four decades, Arnold continues to be a significant presence in American entertainment, with her work resonating across generations.
