Thomas Anglero

Thomas Anglero is a keynote speaker and Strategic AI Advisor to executive leaders and boards, specializing in AI transformation, executive leadership, and organizational change. He is one of a rare group of speakers who has built and led at the intersection of AI and enterprise leadership across multiple industries — and who speaks from that lived experience, not from research or commentary.

He is a three-time technology pioneer. In 1993, he was among the first ten people in the world to make a voice call over the internet, going on to serve as CEO of Free World Dialup — a direct predecessor to Skype — and was named CNN's Maverick of the Day. In 2014, he founded the IBM Watson AI Lab for Cancer at the Oslo Cancer Cluster, the first AI laboratory for cancer embedded within a European cancer campus. And in 2025, he built an AI-first venture using AI agents as his entire engineering team — the experience that now grounds his keynotes and advisory work.

His executive career spans senior leadership roles across global technology and consulting organizations. As Nordic CTO at Cognizant, he led AI strategy across the region and closed over $500 million in enterprise transformation deals. As IBM Nordic Director of Innovation, he built a pipeline exceeding $200 million. He redesigned how Norway's Tax Authority approaches innovation and held senior positions at Telenor and Ericsson. He has founded four technology companies.

Thomas has delivered over 450 keynotes across more than 30 countries for organizations including IBM, the World Health Organization, the World Governments Summit, the European Commission, EY, UNICEF, and Medtronic. He speaks on main stages, in boardrooms, and at executive retreats — in person and virtually, worldwide.

He is the author of "Intro to Artificial Intelligence" and hosts the Soul of Innovation podcast, with over 250 episodes. He was named Entrepreneur of the Year by IESE Business School in Barcelona.

Thomas holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Pratt Institute, New York. He is a dual U.S.-Norwegian citizen based in Oslo, Norway, and is available for engagements worldwide.
