Abel Tesfaye, known as The Weeknd, has procured a reputation for his unique blend of multiple music genres, including pop, R&B, hip-hop, dance, alternative, and new wave. His distinct vocal style and wide, light-lyric tenor vocal range have distinguished him as a notable figure in the alternative R&B genre. With albums like "Kiss Land," "Beauty Behind the Madness," "Starboy," "After Hours," and "Dawn FM," each showcasing various musical influences and styles, The Weeknd has left an indelible mark on the music industry.

In addition to his musical prowess, The Weeknd has ventured into the world of acting and production. With his debut in the film "Uncut Gems" in 2019, he co-wrote and starred in an episode of "American Dad!" the following year. He has also lent his voice to the 200th episode of "Robot Chicken" and an episode of "The Simpsons." He co-wrote a film with Trey Edward Shults titled "Hurry Up Tomorrow," where he starred alongside Jenna Ortega and Barry Keoghan. Serving as a UN Goodwill Ambassador for the World Food Programme, he has launched the XO Humanitarian Fund, pledging $1 from every ticket sold at his tour to the WFP, along with a $500,000 donation. The XO Humanitarian Fund has directed $2,500,000 towards WFP's humanitarian efforts in the Gaza Strip.
