Terrell Davis Biography
Terrell Davis is a former National Football League (NFL) running back renowned for his dominant play with the Denver Broncos. After a standout high school career at Lincoln High in San Diego, he began college at Long Beach State before transferring to the University of Georgia. Drafted in the sixth round in 1995, Davis quickly emerged as a star, rushing for over 1,100 yards as a rookie. He enjoyed a spectacular stretch from 1996 to 1998, including a 2,008-yard season in 1998 that earned him NFL MVP honors and helped lead the Broncos to back-to-back Super Bowl titles. He was named Super Bowl XXXII MVP and became known for his trademark “Mile High Salute.”
Despite his success, Davis’s career was cut short by knee injuries, leading to his retirement in 2002 with 7,607 rushing yards and several franchise records. Inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2017, he remains a respected figure in football, working as an NFL Network analyst and co-founding DEFY, a CBD-infused performance drink brand.
