Temi Marcella

Temi Marcella is a global private equity and venture capital investor and founding partner of Alcent Capital, a growth investment firm that deploys catalytic capital into technology companies with global ambitions. With nearly two decades of experience mobilizing capital for high‑impact ventures, Marcella has committed and deployed close to $1 billion in private capital across sectors including technology, healthcare, financial services, energy, and digital infrastructure.

Marcella began her career at Goldman Sachs International and later earned an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and an MA in economics with first‑class honours from Christ’s College, University of Cambridge, where she was a matriculation scholar.

Before founding Alcent, she served as regional lead for the US$1 billion Evercare Health Fund, managed by TPG Capital and The Rise Fund, where she helped scale healthcare platforms across Africa and Asia and oversaw development of Evercare Hospital Lekki, one of Nigeria’s most advanced private hospitals.

Marcella also co‑founded early‑stage investment platforms including Kairos Angels and MAGIC, helping build portfolios of more than 200 companies across 25 countries and five continents.

A recognized leader in the global investment community, she holds advisory and board roles with organizations such as Save the Children International, the Equality Fund, and the University of Cambridge, and is a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader.
