Tayme Thapthimthong is a new series regular in HBO’s highly anticipated third season of "The White Lotus," set in Thailand.
Thapthimthong is a London-born actor of Thai descent whose diverse real-life experiences and roles in television and film have quickly gained him international recognition. Before venturing into acting, he served in the Royal Thai Army as an infantryman and a Physical Training instructor for the Thai Army's Counter Terrorist unit. He later worked at the Armed Forces Security Center - Thailand’s CIA equivalent. After leaving the Army he went on to work in private security. While attending Kingston University he studied performing arts. In 2017, Thapthimthong was cast in the Swedish-Thai crime drama series, "Farang." Thapthimthong also loves music that includes the blues and modern R&B. He also loves to dance, particularly hip hop.
