Taylor Hanson

Taylor Hanson is a multi-Grammy-nominated musician, songwriter, producer, and entrepreneur whose career spans more than three decades in the pop rock and independent music industries. Best known as a member of the pop rock band Hanson, Hanson performs lead and backing vocals and plays keyboard, percussion, guitar, harmonica, and piano. He and his older brother Isaac formed the band with younger sibling Zac, launching their career at a young age. Over the course of his career, Hanson has sold more than 16 million albums with the trio Hanson.

Hanson's breakthrough occurred with the release of the major-label debut album, "Middle of Nowhere," featuring the single "MMMBop," which reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Subsequent albums such as "This Time Around," "The Walk," and "Shout It Out" reflect the band's ongoing creative evolution. After co-founding 3CG Records, the band released "Underneath," which debuted at number one on the Billboard Independent Albums chart. Hanson was 14 years old when the band received its first Grammy nomination, making him one of the youngest nominees in the award's history.

Beyond his work with Hanson, Hanson has explored various creative ventures. He formed the power pop supergroup Tinted Windows with James Iha of Smashing Pumpkins, Bun E. Carlos of Cheap Trick, and Adam Schlesinger of Fountains of Wayne. As an advocate for independent music, he co-founded 3CG Records, enabling Hanson to produce music independently. Hanson's entrepreneurial activities include co-founding Hanson Brothers Beer Company, which features MMMhops Pale Ale, and launching The Hop Jam Beer and Music Festival.

Hanson's influence extends into philanthropy and community activism. He co-founded the Take The Walk Campaign to address extreme poverty and HIV/AIDS in Africa. He also founded Food On The Move, an initiative providing access, education, and innovative solutions to address food insecurity and food deserts, distributing millions of pounds of fresh produce to the Oklahoma community. Hanson has advocated for music education through The Recording Academy's Grammys On The Hill and VH1's Save The Music. Inducted into the Oklahoma Hall of Fame, Hanson is recognized for his contributions to music, entrepreneurship, and social change.
