Tawfik Hammoud

Tawfik Hammoud is the chief client officer and chairman of industry practices at Boston Consulting Group, where he oversees the firm’s significant client relationships and leads its global industry groups. As a member of Boston Consulting Group’s Global Executive Committee and Operating Committee, Hammoud contributes to the strategic direction of the firm, which manages more than $13 billion in revenue. Hammoud was involved in launching Boston Consulting Group’s Principal Investors & Private Equity practice, and his advisory work covers a range of industries and geographies, with a focus on private and public investors, including private equity, venture capital, hedge funds, and sovereign wealth funds.

Hammoud’s expertise includes business strategy, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, operations, and digital transformation. He has advised global investors and corporations on growth strategy, asset allocation, thematic investing, and governance. Before joining Boston Consulting Group, Hammoud held roles in investment banking, private equity, and technology entrepreneurship in the United States, Canada, and France. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in finance and international affairs from ESCP Business School in Paris.

Hammoud is a frequent speaker at global forums such as World Economic Forum in Davos, Atlantic Dialogue, African CEO Forum, and Milken Institute. He serves as chairman of the board of Digital Ventures, a Los Angeles-based digital incubator, and is a board member of Toronto International Film Festival. Fluent in English, French, Arabic, and Spanish, Hammoud is recognized for his insights on innovation, investment, and macroeconomic trends, and is regularly sought for public speaking and advisory roles.
