Tauren Wells is a platinum-selling recording artist, multi-instrumentalist, and songwriter known for his contributions to contemporary Christian and gospel music. Wells has received 10 Grammy Award nominations, six number one singles, more than 225 million career video views, six GMA Dove Awards, a Billboard Music Award nomination, and over 1 billion global streams. His music blends Christian and gospel sounds with pop, hip-hop, and R&B, showcasing his versatility in the music industry.

Wells launched his solo career with the pop single "Love Is Action," which held the number one position at CHR radio for eight weeks. He followed with the Grammy-nominated and RIAA platinum-certified track "Hills and Valleys," a piano and cello-driven song that remained in the Christian Airplay Top 10 for several weeks. His single "Known," which is RIAA gold-certified, reached number one on multiple charts, including Christian Airplay and Christian AC Songs, and earned a Grammy Award nomination for Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song as well as a Billboard Music Award nomination for Top Christian Song.
