Tajan Braithwaite Renderos

Tajan Braithwaite Renderos is an ICF-credentialed leadership development and executive coach specializing in people management, organizational culture, and professional growth. With more than 15 years of experience in talent management and coaching for global organizations, Renderos supports leaders at all levels in navigating the complexities of managing teams. She has coached and trained first-time managers, middle managers, and senior executives, many of whom have not received formal training in adopting a coaching approach to management. Renderos holds a Bachelor of Arts in biology from Wesleyan University and a Master of Public Health from Yale School of Epidemiology and Public Health.

Prior to establishing her coaching practice, Renderos held leadership roles in public health and organizational development. She managed national training centers and served as director of JSI's Center for Health Equity, focusing on diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. In this role, Renderos collaborated with a team to advance health equity and build organizational capacity to apply an equity lens to business development and project implementation. Her background in public health and systems thinking informs her coaching philosophy, which emphasizes building high-trust teams through transparent communication and intentional leadership.

As founder of Tajan Renderos Coaching, LLC, Renderos partners with companies to integrate coaching-based management strategies for leaders, addressing challenges such as conflict resolution and difficult conversations. She delivers workshops, coaching, consulting, and learning collaboratives, and has coached thousands of clients using her proprietary MCDC framework. Her clients include professionals from companies such as Netflix, Dropbox, Atlassian, Twitter, Zendesk, BMW, Shopify, and Lyft.

Renderos is also an author and public speaker. She wrote "The Proven People Management Success System Every Struggling First Time Manager Needs," a book that addresses topics including imposter syndrome, delegation, and managing difficult conversations. Renderos delivered a keynote address at the TEDx BU event with her talk, "The Danger of Your Company's Bias Toward the 'Rock-Star' Employee." Her insights on leadership development, people management, and coaching have been featured on podcasts, radio programs, and her YouTube channel.
