Sylvester Chauke

Sylvester Chauke is a prominent figure in African brand communication, recognized as an entrepreneur, author, and TED speaker. Chauke's career began at global agencies including FCB, Ogilvy, and DDB, where he developed expertise in storytelling and brand building. He later served as National Marketing Manager at Nando's South Africa, focusing on consumer engagement and market strategy, before joining MTV Networks Africa as Director of Marketing and Communication.

Chauke founded DNA Brand Architects, a marketing and brand consultancy based in Johannesburg and Cape Town. The agency has worked with brands such as Vodacom, Pernod Ricard, SABMiller, Boardmans, and Steers. DNA Brand Architects has received recognition including ICCO World's Best, PRISM Large PR Agency of the Year, IABC Best of the Best, and a place on Adweek's Top 100 Fastest Growing Agencies in the World.

Chauke has received honors such as the CNBC All Africa Young Business Leader of the Year award, inclusion among the Top 100 Influential Africans, the NSBC Innovation Award, and the NSBC National Entrepreneur Champion honor. He serves on the board of the South African State Theatre as Chair of the Artistic and Sponsorship Committee and is a member of the Advisory Board for the University of Johannesburg.
