Suzy Welch Biography
Suzy Welch is a business journalist, bestselling author, and Professor of Management Practice at NYU’s Stern School of Business, where she teaches leadership and purpose-driven decision-making. She is also a senior advisor to Brunswick Group and a frequent media contributor, with regular appearances on CNBC and Today, and contributions to The Wall Street Journal.
Welch began her career as a crime reporter at The Miami Herald before earning degrees from Harvard University and Harvard Business School, where she was a Baker Scholar. She later spent seven years as a consultant at Bain & Company and served as editor-in-chief of Harvard Business Review.
She is the co-author of the international bestsellers Winning and The Real-Life MBA, and the author of the New York Times bestseller 10-10-10. Her most recent book, Becoming You: Crafting the Authentic Life You Want and Need, will be published by Harper Business in May 2025. Welch also serves on corporate and nonprofit boards and divides her time between New York and Miami.
