Supaman

Christian Parrish Takes the Gun, better known as Supaman, is a multifaceted artist encompassing roles as a rapper, fancy war dancer, DJ, and singer. His unique blending of traditional Native American elements with contemporary music styles has been a defining aspect of his career. In 2003, Supaman's passion for music led him to establish the Native American hip-hop group, Rezawrecktion. Their album "It's Time" earned them the Native American Music Award in 2005. As a solo artist, Supaman has released multiple albums, including "Illuminatives" in 2018 and "Medicine Bundle" in 2021.

Supaman's unique blend of music and social activism has been evident in his work. His music video "Stand Up / Stand N Rock #NoDAPL" won the MTV Video Music Award for Best Video with a Social Message in 2017, reflecting his active support of the Dakota Access Pipeline protests.
