Sulabh Jain

Sulabh Jain is an analytics and artificial intelligence leader serving as chief analytics officer at Impact Analytics, a company specializing in AI decision systems for the retail and consumer packaged goods (CPG) sectors. In this role, Jain leads teams in developing and delivering advanced analytics and AI applications for merchandising, pricing, promotions, and reporting systems. With more than a decade of experience, he oversees internal data science and software teams to create enterprise applications that support decision-making for big-box and specialty retailers across the United States.

Jain's work spans multiple global retailers, focusing on pricing, promotions, inventory management, merchandising, and assortment optimization. Before his executive position, Jain built a foundation in management consulting as a consultant at Boston Consulting Group, where he developed strategic solutions for industries such as retail, IT services, banking, chemicals, and manufacturing. His responsibilities included workforce planning, sales force transformation, entry strategy development, and operational efficiency improvements.

Jain has also co-founded WhatsOnRent.com, a marketplace for renting products across categories, and contributed to TinyOwl, a mobile-based food ordering startup in India. These entrepreneurial experiences provided insights into startup ecosystems and emphasized the importance of agile, data-driven decision-making and team management. His expertise includes building forecasting and optimization solutions in the retail and CPG industry and managing high-performance teams.

In addition to his corporate leadership, Jain serves as a lecturer at the University of California, Irvine's Paul Merage School of Business, where he brings practical AI and analytics knowledge to the academic environment. As a keynote speaker, he addresses topics such as data science, retail analytics, startup strategy, business strategy, merchandising analytics, AI in retail, and careers in data science.

Jain holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, and a degree in mechanical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. His academic and professional background highlights his expertise in analytics and AI, as well as his commitment to applying these technologies to address complex business challenges.
