Stolen Gin

Stolen Gin is a dynamic five-piece band hailing from New York City, renowned for their electrifying live performances and a genre-blending sound that fuses elements of funk, disco, jazz, psychedelic rock, and electronic music. Formed in 2019 by New York University students Jackson Lardner (lead vocals, guitar, keys), Will Adler (guitar), and Sawyer Adler (bass), the group later expanded to include Evan Jacobson (saxophone, keys) and Josh Farrell (drums).

The band's name, Stolen Gin, originated from a playful incident involving a swiped bottle of gin at a rooftop party, symbolizing their commitment to turning any gathering into an unforgettable dance experience. Their music draws inspiration from a diverse array of artists, including the improvisational styles of the Grateful Dead and Phish, the electronic grooves of Daft Punk and Parcels, and the funk-infused rhythms of Vulfpeck.

Since their inception, Stolen Gin has evolved from performing rooftop shows in Manhattan to touring extensively across the United States and Europe. Their discography includes the debut EP Something Sweet (2019), the album No Tonic (2022), and several singles, such as "Out of Sight and Mind" released in November 2024.

With a growing fanbase and a reputation for high-energy shows that blend tight musicianship with spontaneous improvisation, Stolen Gin continues to captivate audiences.
