Steven Haden

Steven Haden is a business and public health executive and strategic advisor whose career spans multinational corporate consulting, statewide nonprofit leadership, clinical behavioral health practice and applied public health research. As founder and managing partner of Ripple Effect Partners, Haden advises organizations on systems transformation, workforce resilience and brand stewardship, helping leaders align operational performance with institutional credibility and measurable community impact. Guided by his grandfather's enduring question, "Why not?", he challenges organizations to pair courage with accountability and purpose with performance.

Haden previously founded and served as chief executive officer of Envision:You, where he led statewide policy initiatives that expanded 988 crisis response services, helped secure a ban on conversion therapy, advanced provider training and pioneered LGBTQ+ behavioral health research. The organization scaled 10-fold in programs and 50-fold in revenue through its 2025 acquisition. Haden is also the founder and board chair of You:Flourish, a nonprofit advancing LGBTQ+ mental health through research-informed digital interventions, where he served as the principal investigator on a SAMHSA-funded study. Haden serves on the board of the Brazelton Touchpoints Center, contributing to national efforts advancing relational health and early childhood development.

Earlier, he held senior leadership roles in global communications consulting, including senior vice president of the corporate practice at Hill+Knowlton, where he advised Fortune 500 brands across North America and Europe on reputation strategy and high-stakes communications in complex regulatory environments. Haden later practiced as a clinical social worker at WellPower and Queer Asterisk, including service on an Assertive Community Treatment team supporting adults experiencing serious mental illness, homelessness and justice system involvement.

Haden is the creator of The ALIGN Framework for Change, a proprietary methodology that integrates business strategy with human-centered systems design to navigate reputational risk and institutionalize operational rigor during growth and transformation. He is completing a doctorate in public health at George Washington University, where his dissertation research focuses on suicide risk assessment in marginalized adolescents. Haden also holds an MBA from New York University Stern School of Business, a master of social work from Simmons University and a bachelor's degree from the University of Colorado Boulder. Haden is a certified psychiatric rehabilitation provider and a Mental Health First Aid instructor.

Haden lives in Denver with his husband and their two Labrador retrievers.
