Steve Way

Steve Way is an actor, comedian, writer, producer, and keynote speaker whose career spans entertainment and disability advocacy. Way is recognized for his recurring role as Steve on the Hulu series "Ramy" and for stand-up comedy that explores life with muscular dystrophy. Born with Ullrich congenital muscular dystrophy, Way is known for advancing inclusion in entertainment and disability rights. His role in "Ramy" contributed to increased representation of disabled performers in mainstream television. He has also appeared on the Hulu series "Furious" and writes about disability and healthcare policy.

Way has performed stand-up comedy for more than 12 years, beginning with his first set at the Comedy Charity Explosion in Rutherford, New Jersey. He is the co-creator and star of the web series "Uplifting Dystrophy." His performances include appearances at the Bamboozle music festival and co-hosting The Lockdown, a monthly stand-up show at the People's Improv Theatre in New York City. As a producer, Way's credits include executive producer roles on "Good Bad Things" and "Disposable Humanity," and producer on "We'll Meet Again."

Way began public speaking at age 10, notably with the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
