Steve Letarte

Steve Letarte has built an extensive career in the heart of NASCAR, with significant positions as both a crew chief and a broadcaster. His tenure in NASCAR began in 1995 at Hendrick Motorsports, where he served as a crew chief until 2014. Notably, Letarte was assigned to the No. 24 car of Jeff Gordon from 2005 to 2010, a period that saw the team set a NASCAR modern-era record for the most top 10s in a single season in 2007. His leadership continued to prove successful when he transitioned to Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s No. 88 car in 2011, resulting in multiple strong performances, race wins, and the team's re-entry into the Sprint Cup Chase for the Championship for the first time since 2008.
