Steve Doocy

Steve Doocy is a television news anchor and journalist known for his work in broadcast journalism and cable news. A graduate of the University of Kansas School of Journalism, Doocy is the founding co-host of Fox News Channel's morning program "Fox & Friends," which has maintained a leading position among cable morning news shows for more than two decades. Doocy began his career as a reporter at stations in Topeka, Des Moines, Wichita, and Kansas City, later serving as a feature story reporter for WRC, the NBC owned-and-operated station in Washington, D.C., and hosting programs for NBC, Fox, and CBS.

Doocy joined Fox News Channel at its launch as a weather reporter in New York City and was named co-host of "Fox & Friends" when the show premiered. The program quickly became the top-rated morning show in cable news and has held that status for an extended period. As co-host, Doocy has provided coverage and analysis of national news, politics, and cultural events, interviewing a range of newsmakers and public figures, including President Donald Trump, former President George W. Bush, Mitt Romney, Hillary Clinton, and Dick Cheney. Doocy has received 11 local Emmy Awards for feature coverage and the Associated Press Feature Reporter of the Year Award. He has contributed to coverage of every presidential election since joining Fox News.

In addition to his broadcasting career, Doocy is a bestselling author. His works include "Tales From the Dad Side: Misadventures in Fatherhood," "The Mr. and Mrs. Happy Handbook," "The Happy Cookbook," "Happy in a Hurry Cookbook," and "Simply Happy Cookbook." He has hosted cooking segments such as "Cooking with Steve Doocy" and "Cooking in a Hurry" on Fox Nation, Fox News Channel's streaming service.

After an extended tenure as a New York City-based co-host, Doocy transitioned to a role as a traveling special correspondent for "Fox & Friends," reporting from Florida and cities across the United States.
