Steve Doocy, a longstanding co-anchor of "Fox & Friends," has been instrumental in shaping the show from 1998 through 2025. As of May 1, 2025, Doocy transitioned to a more concentrated role, focusing on special projects for the show from his base in Florida. His contributions, however, extend beyond the studio, with his work earning him various recognitions, including awards from the Associated Press, the Society of Professional Journalists, and an impressive collection of 11 Emmys from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences by 1988.
Doocy's career also discloses a flair for writing. Alongside his wife, Kathy, he co-authored the "Happy in a Hurry Cookbook." Not only did this cookbook debut at number one on the New York Times Best Seller list, but it also emerged as one of America's top cookbooks of 2020. His literary repertoire includes the book "Tales from the Dad Side: Misadventures in Fatherhood."
Aside from his professional accolades, Doocy has also been acknowledged for his contributions to his home state. In 2014, the Native Sons and Daughters of Kansas named him Distinguished Kansan of the Year.
