Stephen Kalyn

Stephen Kalyn is a Canadian actor known for his work across film and television, recognized for his versatility and authentic screen presence. Kalyn attended a two-year filmmaking program at Hobart College before beginning his professional acting career. He started acting professionally at age 22, initially landing small roles on television, and earned a Canadian Screen Award nomination as part of the ensemble cast of the mini-series "Essex County." Kalyn has appeared on television shows such as "Transplant," "Accused," and "Law & Order Toronto: Criminal Intent."

Kalyn has become a recurring presence on Prime Video, appearing in three of the platform's series prior to his role in "Off Campus." His credits include the pilot of Amazon's "Cruel Intentions" reboot, portraying the younger version of Ryan Phillippe's character in "Motorheads," and joining the cast of "Gen V" Season 2 as Greg, a student at God U. He also starred opposite Sara Waisglass in the independent thriller "Cascade," where his character and a group of teens encounter danger after discovering a crashed drug plane. On Prime Video's romance drama "Off Campus," based on Elle Kennedy's novel series, Kalyn plays Dean Di Laurentis, a hockey player at the fictional Briar University. His portrayal draws on his real-life hockey experience, making him the only member of the core cast with a genuine athletic background in the sport.
