Stephanie Nogueras

Stephanie Nogueras is a deaf Puerto Rican actor who has made significant strides in the entertainment industry with roles in a variety of esteemed television series and films. Her career began with a role as "Natalie Pierce" on the ABC Family series "Switched at Birth," spanning from 2013 to 2017. Nogueras continued to broaden her acting skills with roles in "Grimm" and "Killing It," where she played the character “Camille.” She also portrayed “Ava” in the Fox crime anthology "Accused," making her appearance in episode 2 in 2023. Additionally, she starred as Amaya DeSoto in the 2018 horror film "Unfriended: Dark Web."

Outside of acting, Nogueras has also made substantial contributions to the field of education and advocacy for the Deaf community. Leveraging her personal experience growing up Deaf in a hearing Puerto Rican family, she has been mentoring individuals in deaf culture and American Sign Language. Her work also extends to the entertainment industry, where she serves as an ASL consultant and coach, guiding television shows, films, and theaters. In 2025, Nogueras had the opportunity to sign the National Anthem and "America the Beautiful" at Super Bowl LIX.

Nogueras' dedication to promoting underrepresented voices extends past her acting career and educational roles. She founded Pepita Productions, her own production company, with the intention of spotlighting unrepresented voices in the media.
